The holidays are nearly here. What can you do with your kids?

Fret not, here’s our round-up of holiday activities to get involved in:

 

1. St. Patrick’s Day Festival 2019

Date: 15 to 17 March 2019 Time: 6-10pm (Fri) | 2pm to 10pm (Sat & Sun) |

Venue: Singapore River – Circular Road Admission: Free

 

This festival celebrating St Patrick's Day is a perfect opportunity to have fun and let loose with the whole family! Top things to look out for include live musical performances showcasing traditional Irish music and covers of songs by popular Irish artistes, as well as activities for the whole family such as balloon sculpting and face painting.

 

2.Gardener’s Day Out at Hort Park

Date: 16 March 2019 Time: 9am – 3pm Venue: Hort Park Admission: Free kids

 

Favourite highlights include a Gardeners’ Market, Food Bazaar, free talks and demonstrations, free garden tours of Hort Park and kids’ activities like storytelling and handicrafts! (Note: Activities may differ for each month’s Gardeners’ Day Out.)

*Registration is required, and is on a first-come, first-served basis. All programmes will only commence with a minimum of 15 participants.

 

3. Singapore Festival of Fun

March school holiday coincides with the return of the Singapore Festival of Fun with its three pillars of stellar fun and world-class entertainment for all ages

The 10-day festival features the Clarke Quay Streetfest (14th to 19th March), Magners International Comedy Festival (15th to 23rd March) and Nickelodeon Fiesta (23rd and 24th March)

 

 

4.Clarke Quay Streetfest

Time: 6pm - 10.30pm

Venue: Clarke Quay Singapore

Admission: Free

 

Audiences can expect to be thrilled by The Sergeant Majors (UK), the tallest 10ft tall walkabout act, Otto – The Master of Balloons and a classic clown act, Felicity Footloose – an acrobat who will hang upside down and juggle, Street Circus Canada, a nouveau high-energy performance duo and Ernest Magnifico, a pogo stick and stunt show performer from Australia. Last but not least, Singapore’s very own The Annoying Brothers will also take to the stage with their cheeky Big Top acts.

 

5.Nickelodeon Fiesta

Date: 23 to 24 March

Time: 10am to 6pm

Venue: Clarke Quay Singapore

Admission: Free

 

Good things come in threes and the third edition of Nickelodeon Fiesta to be held on 23rd and 24th March promises to be a fabulous carnival of adventures! The two-day free event at Clarke Quay will feature playful Nickelodeon activities that are inspired by Singapore’s rich history and traditional trades. Look forward to game booths and activities with themes from Nickelodeon shows, where kids and families can get a feel of local nostalgic trades such as street cobblers, the kacang puteh man, ice cream seller or the traditional baker, and stand a chance to take home Nickelodeon collectibles.
